Waiting for the evening bus, in my heels and mini skirt
The snow is tumbling from the skies and my feet began to hurt

Waiting for about an hour for a moment just for us,
Finally I see you coming and we get on the same bus,
And I struggle through the crowd to get into your view
Then at last we’re face to face and I blunder: “How nice to see you!”
And you say: “Oh, yeah, how funny that we meet,
Excuse me, I should get off ‘cause it's is my street,
I will see you around some time, bye-bye”
I watch as you leave and then I start to cry
I guess you never knew what I went through
